WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN
Radegast Hall & Biergarten
A timber beer hall with a retractable roof — steins, schnitzel, and no-cover live brass since 2007.
Radegast Hall has anchored the corner of North 3rd and Berry since 2007: a timber-framed Austro-Hungarian beer hall with a retractable roof over the garden side, long communal tables, and a grill turning out sausages and schnitzel. The tap list runs deep into Central European lagers and Belgian ales, served in proper half-liters and steins.
It is one of the few Williamsburg rooms where live music still comes with no cover — brass bands and jazz most nights of the week. Rain changes nothing; the roof rolls shut and the hall just gets louder. Come with friends, claim a stretch of table, and settle in.
Editor’s tip
Weeknights around the live sets are the sweet spot — full hall atmosphere without the weekend crush.
